Puppy version 2.17 Please go to www.puppylinux.com/news for the release announcement. Notice there are two ISOs, puppy-2.17-seamonkey-fulldrivers.iso 83MB puppy-2.17-nolzma-seamonkey-fulldrivers.iso 93MB These days I think most of the distros that use Squashfs have adopted LZMA compression to get a smaller ISO file. There is a downside to this however, as decompression is slightly slower than the previous GZIP compressed Squashfs files. Therefore, I have provided both -- the 'nolzma' ISO file has noticeably faster application startup times and I recommend it, unless you really need the smaller size. Regards, Barry Kauler 19 July 2007
